Q: What kind of materials can I use on my deck?

A: There are 3 types of materials that can be used on all decks.  The first and least expensive is building a deck using all Green Treated materials.  From there you could step up in quality and price to using Cedar deck boards and railing system.  Finally, the most popular material to use would be a composite material.  Composite materials such as TimberTech offer the homeowner the quality and appearance that they desire.  Composite materials offer the only truly non-maintenance product in the market today.

Q: Are you a certified TimberTech contractor?  What does that mean?

A: Yes, Final Cut Construction is a certified TimberTech Premiere Contractor in the state of MN.  We are the only Premiere Contractor in the SE Minnesota region.  This means that we construct a very high number of TimberTech decks throughout the year, and that we have taken classes on new TimberTech products, and proper installation of TimberTech products.

Q:  Are you fully insured?

A:  Yes, Final Cut Construction is a 100% fully insured construction company.

Q:  What makes your deck designs custom?

A:  When someone from Final Cut Construction meets you the homeowner in regards to building a deck, we really try to get a feel for exactly what you need, want, and expect from your deck.  Not only do these areas apply in just what kind of materials you should use on your deck, but also in exactly what kind of shape should your deck be in?  Where do you need your stairs to land?  Should you have a landing on your stairs?  Would you like custom built-in benches?  etc...  We don't just want to build you a deck, we want to build you the perfect outdoor living space for your entire family to enjoy for years to come.
